November 2013 is all about developing independence

This month (November 2013) we are putting a focus on developing independence and self care skills.

"As this school year comes to an end and I reflect on how much my boys have 'grown up' in such a short space of time, I am amazed at what independent young people they are becoming. Developing independence is a natural part of growing up and I now need to mentally prepare myself for toilet training my youngest over these summer holidays. He is showing so much interest in the toilet already - it's me who is not ready for him to grow up yet!"
